2015 shower

Brian,

We love our 3011ds, that said, what can you do
in the future to improve the shower floor and
walls. I being 5 11" step into the shower and the
floor has some soft spots. Also the walls if I lean
against them move. It is kind of hard to wash your
feet without leaning, heck its hard to tie my shoes!

I hope you mean the bottom of the tub flexes. Mine does to. I weight 240 and I can see where the tub, with all of the flex will eventually crack. I would bet it would be a pain to replace. There is not much if anything supporting the tub. Anyone else?.

I know there are wood blocks that support the drain area. We run these in rentals fleets and in 10 years I don't recall one ever cracking.

ok update, shower door seal on bottom has torn away
after a month and half to travel. This part is pressed
into the bottom of the door and part of it extends into
the shower. It tore at the door, got worse and last night
I looked at it and torn the remaining 4 inches.

Besides the gorilla tape job anything else I can do?

If its the same seal that my 14 3010ds has the same thing happened to me in 1st week. I carefully removed the top door seal and pressed it into place on the bottom. So far so good. Not sure I needed one on the top anyway
