2016 3170ds photos with Malt Interior

We picked out this color scheme without ever seeing the application in a rigg so i wanted to share the photos. Its the Malt interior on the 2016 chassis. Couldn't be happier with it.

Purchased from Mike at Terry Town RV in Grand Rapids- great experience even though Forest River delayed things 6 weeks with their vibration repair. Price was the best i found online.

Probably the thing i like the least is the Zamp Solar hookups on the side of the rigg- i have to run the wire to roof and drill through. I dont want to deal with setting up a mobile solar panel when i get to camp. Plus Zamp Solar is double the price of anyone else. One other item: the fabric interior seats dont really go with the leather interior- leather is standard now on the coach so you mind as well charge a bit more and make the drivers seat leather.

The thing i like the most- driver side swivel seat- its awesome and provides another seat in the coach. Well worth the cost. Everything about the coach is great, USB ports, full length bunks, large bathroom, the electronics. Very happy with our purchase.

FYI on the drive home we we're averaging 7mpg- with the new 6 speed. Hoping this improves with time!!

I'm jealous! I love it! I have a 3170, also, except I have the computer desk and you get more cabinets with that option.

I love the 3170 and have to keep that color scheme in mind if I want to trade again.

Ok, I love the driver side seat swivel, but when you put up the privacy curtain, won't it cover the driver seat anyway?

I have a 2014, I need to check and see if my seat swivels, that would be handy, any chance you near yours and can take a photo of the lever that spins it arond?

I would love to install the swivel seat on mine, would be nice to have another seating area.

I LOVE your color we selected rattan and maple when we ordered and we really like that as well We are gong to install swivel seats on both front seats..this will be our winter project.. be glad they took the time to repair or replace the "vibration" Enjoy

Didn't realize you could add the swivel after market, does it raise the level of the seat too much? Wouldn't want the two seats to be off alot, and there is no sense installing the swivel on the pass side since the dinette would make it un-useable

yes I got the info from the forum we do not have a dinette only a sofa that is why we will swivel both front seats I think they said is raises the seat about an inch here is the site

I can't say for sure what all the remotes are in the picture but I recognize most of them. Here's a list of remotes that came with my 2015 FR motorhome and I think these are what you're seeing in the photo.

Main TV
Outside TV
Bedroom TV
Outside stereo/DVD player
In-dash stereo
Backup camera

And I assume that the living area stereo/DVD player that is now installed on 2016 models would have a separate remote.
