2016 diesel generator type?

Is the diesel generator on a new Sunseeker going to be equipped with an Automatic Generator Start System? I've read in their manual on line, as I don't have my unit yet, that some are equipped with it allowing for a temperature to be set in the cabin so if it gets too hot for instance, the generator and therefore ac can turn on for pets, etc.
Thanks

We don't have an automatic generator set up. You would need to fire it up from the control panel inside the coach.

I am not sure about the sunseeker. if I ordered a diesel genny for my Prism I would not have received an AGS. It did come with an auto transfer switch (my LP genny does not have that feature).

I priced out an AGS from Cummins- approx $400 for the wired and close to $900 for the wireless. The AGS will monitor the chassis battery, the coach batteries, and the temp. It will start and run the AC , charge batts etc It will even auto top off batteries ahead of the cg quiet times It is fairly easy to install. Especially to the batteries. The thermostat is more difficult. I have a dometic digital stat and the AGS needs a 12V signal from the stat to start the genny. I can not figure out that hook up.

PM me and I can send the full manual/install guide

Hi Joshua, I was rereading the sunseeker brochure and it says Automatic generator transfer switch is standard equipment on the MBS. Is it not then standard because of the diesel generator?

The automatic transfer switch is used to transfer one electrical load to the next. That doesn't mean it will automatically start to run your AC.

Thanks for the explanation Mars man!
