2016 Sunseeker 2300 Ride-Rite System and Tire Pressure

Good morning,

We are going on our first RV trip this weekend. I have the rite ride system on my unit. I currently have the fresh water tank 2/3 full. I have two questions.

1. What is the recommended tire pressure on the RV?
2. How many pounds of pressure do you add on the ride-rite system to keep the RV balance?

Thank you for your help and support.

We have a 2300 as well.

Recommended tire pressure is 65 front, 80 rear. Max is 80 cold for the tires.

I find our unit handles the sway and wind better with 60-65 psi in the bags. However, it rides more comfortable with 40-45 psi in them. We always travel with a full fresh water.

Safe travels

DocsDad,

Do you happen to know the curb weight of the 2300 without any cargo?

What is the maximum weight we can put on the 2300? Is it 14,200 or 20,000?

[QUOTE=Airbornemp;1106526]Good morning,

Mine is 2015 with 15000kms. I followed many suggestions and fully loaded on a trip I weighed the RV. Based on Michelins web site for the specific tires I have, I have 60 PSI in front and 70 in back. Rides and handles fine. Mine came with 50 PSI in the ride rite system and I have found no reason to change it. It loses air faster than I like but apparently that's common. No big deal. leaving for Alabama in four days to escape the cold. Enjoy your unit, we do!!
