2017 3050S questions before purchase

Am seriously considering this rig and will be traveling about 2 hours to go see it Saturday and have a few questions....

1. Do the tv's have HDMI ports for game systems, Roku's etc.?
2. Can the kids watch TV while driving?
3. Is there an LP hookup for a grill?
4. About what kind of gas mileage can I expect?
5. This unit has an outside TV. Is there a central location for playing DVDs that you can choose which tv to display to?

I'm sure I'll have more questions, but thanks in advance

I have a 2017 Forester 3051. Sister to your 3050

1. I have 32" Jensen in the living room and outside. They both have dual HDMI ports.

2. Yes you can watch tv while driving.

3. There is no hookup for LP grill. But, you can add one to the propane tank. Camco sells a tee with connection and 12' hose. part #59103

4. I average 8-8.5 mpg.

5. My living room radio plays DVDs to the living room TV via HDMI. Mine came with a radio mounted under the outside TV which plays DVDs to the outside TV.

Thanks for the quick reply. They are telling me you can't watch TV without an inverter? Does yours have one?

The factory TVís operate off 12 VDC. so no inverter needed. But assuming this is a previously owened unit they may have been changed.

The LP quick connect for a grill is a factory option. They can also be installed aftermarket/DIY as previously mentioned.

My 2012 SunSeeker came with an inverter for the outlet near the TV. I added my own tape/DVD player so it can be watched going down the road. TV is behind and above driver.

Interesting. My outside and bedroom TVs are 12 volt but the livingroom TV is 120 volt.
Since we have the entertainment center I suppose if I leaned my head back far enough I could watch the TV while I drive if it was 12 volt.

2017 3050S questions before purchase

Not in your question list but, Understand the cargo carrying capacity. C's of this length ,assumed to be 30', does not allow much weight room for people, water, food and other stuff.
Other 3050/3051 owners, please weigh in. I have a 3170.

I did not realize that the TV used in the entertainment center was 120 VAC. My unit has the cab over bed with a 12 VDC swing out TV.

Mine came with a 120 volt TV when we bought it. On a swing out mount in the cab overhead.

Good question. Assuming that doesn't include towing capacity of 7500 lbs, I guess I could stow stuff in my TOAD correct?
