2017 SunSeeker 2430S generator transfer box

We were boondocking and having all kinds of trouble with what we thought ws the generator transfer switch since we had no power from the generator even though it was starting, running and generating.
Finally narrowed it down to the GFCI plug in the bathroom knocking out the 30 amp house circuit breaker. Need to get the ground checked.
However, in the process of narrowing it down, we opened the box to the transfer switch. Lo and behold, we discovered three loose screws lying at the bottom of the box. Needless to say, we removed them before we reinstalled the cover to the box.
Sometimes good things come from searching for solutions.

2017 SunSeeker 2430S generator transfer box

Ha!! Same thing with our 17 2300, I had no power on several outlets but the microwave and fridge still worked on shore or gen.. narrowed it down to the gfci outlet but the reset button wouldn't reset so I pulled the out to find one of the neutral wires off. That fixed the issue, next I went to install the hard wired progressive industries surge protector and when I pulled the cover off the transfer switch box I found that forest river provides a set of needle nose pliers right there in the box for ya along with 2 new screws!!! The whole time I'm wondering how the coach hadn't burnt to the ground yet!!!!!

Yikes! We have a 2016 2430S. Could you please tell me where we could find the transfer switch/box? Is it under the bed?

It's in the lower outside compartment right behind the generator. Screwed to the wall on the left. Have fun getting that cover off. Took us a while.

Go easy. Somewhere there is a D model buff (B52 for you non SAC folks) flying around with my small bone handle pocket knife in the cockpit. Prob in the desert in Arz now. If someone finds it please let me know I want it back...
