2250 LE owners input please

We currently have a FR Lexington 210 (06). It has been a great unit and we have used it for 69000 miles but the time has come to put her out to pasture and purchase a newer unit. We have spent the last 6 months looking around to find that "right unit" and have come to the conclusion that the 2250LE meets almost all of our criteria.
We are to sign on the dotted line on Wednesday for the new unit so at the "11th hour" I felt compelled to ask for some input from others on the forum that have had some experience with this model. Good and or bad I would like to hear what ever you have to offer.
Ours is a standard unit with a couple of options. I am covering the slide with a topper, 2 batteries ( we boondock a lot in our travels), a entertainment center instead of the overhead bed, and a jack knife couch in place of the dinette. We use TV trays for eating and felt that removing the dinette would offer us as much as 12 inches more navigating room in the main area.
Looking forward to your comments. Thanks in advance!

Did you end up getting the 2250? What you are talking about here is exactly how we would outfit ours.

No we did not. In the final review th 2250 came in very high in price. We ended up buying a leftover 2013 Thor Chateau 24C with one slide and a rear corner bed. The quality of the unit seemed better and there were a few added features we liked. We ended up with a bed over the cab but we use that as extra storage. It has worked out very well for us. The rear storage unit is around 16 cu.ft.and that has been a big asset. More importantly we saved around 10 grand on the purchase. We now have 7000 miles on the unit.
There have been issues with the Thor but after a few months of working with Thor we have seemed to resolve all of those but one so far.
Good luck with your progress.
