Another thing I love about these rigs is no retractable step.
I hate those things.

Geeman52, congrats on the new 2250! I'm curious how you like the bifurcated bed - I'm fussy about beds and always intended to replace the mattress with with a high quality latex or sleep number model. That wouldn't be possible on the 2250. Mark...

Total Loss ,I'm w/ you on the step in .I've been hit in the leg by a few class c's.,which I don't miss. I hate the hubcaps on the 2250 . We just ordered wheel simulators and are going to pick up valve extensions - items left off the LE , hence the limited ( you can't have them) edition. mbauman, Thanks ,we added a 2 inch memory foam topper - lost the bump, much better . IMHO -2250 slec - a hidden gem !

They had an upgraded mattress (a little softer) in another unit they sold us when we bought the rig. Still pretty firm but that is what I like.
I too ejected the crappy wheel covers for some simulators.
Added some black powdercoated alum running boards and took off the Forester decals. Sorry for not advertising for Forest River.
Dark window tint next.

I really like the White and black trim (with some silver/blue stripes-Forester model- I think the Sunseeker has an orange stripe) on the 2016.
All my stuff matches (trailer, tow vehicle. Polaris Rzr) and is coming together nicely.
I will post up some photos when done.
I am going to use the heck out of this rig and toys behind it.
Gonna burn some fuel.

Can you post photo of the wheel simulators? I wanted to add a TPMS to my 2250 but the dealer said the hubcaps interfered with the normal extensions. I really want a TPMS so I am willing to get rid of the hubcaps if I have to.

I bought the large hole covers (4). Access is good to the stock valves.
I bought extenders but do not really need them with a dually type air chuck.
I leave the air chuck/gauge in the rig.
These valve stems are already steel so with no extenders- less chance of leakage.

Here are the simulators:

$125 at Summit
I did have to bend the front tabs to get a snug fit to teh wheel.
Kind of a pain.

We bought the recliners from camping world- kinda small but ok for my wife and I. I am also modifying them for lift and angle.
They are made to get through an RV door- 2 pins and clips removed.
Will also have to relocate the electrical sockets to the wardrobe wall and retrim around the floor- fill any holes necessary. I will keep one floor anchor to tie up the chairs when in motion.

We also installed a swivel for the passenger cab seat.
This makes for seating for 3 very comfortable. We will add another folding chair for a fourth seat for happy hour gatherings.

I will photo in process and when done.

Here is one photo from our maiden voyage where I removed the forward bench and put one of my house recliners in for a test.

Looks great! I have a 2250 Chevy and hate the dinette, it is extremely uncomfortable even with the back cushions removed. I would hate to sacrifice the storage under the bench though. I noticed you also have a swivel passenger seat, where did you get the swivel base and how hard was it to change it?

Pretty simple to change. 8 bolts- factory mount points.
It does move the seat inward about 1.75 inches and upward about 1.5.
My wife likes the new seating position.
Works good.

I can't find my receipt but I think I got this one:

96 + GMC/Chevy Swivel Plate Factory Seat
