Old Coot, thats the exact fix I have ready to go, great minds think alike, but havn't been to the unit in storage yet. Can you tell me what brand tape, how much coverage on the lexan, and did it hold up well, etc thanks.

Mine was in the medicine chest. I think it is in the garage now. As we prefer a different style (slip on) went to Lowes and found one. Then found a solid spot on the wall between the towel bar and shower to mount it.

3M 5# outdoor tape, covered the entire back of the Lexan and it's held for 3 yrs and still holding very well. The Lexan extends about 1" on both sides of the holder altho' I don't know if the extra is needed.

where to put the toilet paper holder

We solved this in our unit by mounting it on the inside of the cabinet below the sink. Convenient and out of the way. Maybe this could work in your unit?

Who knew TP holder placement would be three pages and counting.

And you wonder why we don't mount it? Because everywhere we mount it is "fine for one person" "and the stupidest thing any manufacturer has ever done in 100 years" for someone else.

REGARDLESS OF WHERE IT IS INSTALLED. Roll MUST go "over the top". No ifs ands or butts about it

I agree with Brian on being surprised how many comments on the toilet paper holder. I've asked questions about Big Foot Levelers and other things and didn't get half the replies!
Anyways, my original question was where is the toilet paper holder and I found it. It was in the freezer. Thanks for the ideas on the placement of it!

Mounted ours on the bathroom door below the mirror ( in 3051s) and also TP rolls over the TOP.

3010 toilet paper holder

Our camper is a year old but after extended research on this forum I finally flushed out a location for our TP holder! DW is happy so must be better than rolling around on floor!

FYI - When I'm unsure about where I want something mounted, I use 3M command strips. Buy them by the pack without the hooks. I use as many as necessary to mount the item to the wall. If I like the placement, I mark the spot, then attach the item permanently. DH likes this method as it keeps the holes in the wall down to a minimum. I use this method in the house as well. I've even used them to keep the bunkhouse TV from jumping around (no more disconnecting TV and moving it) on a 40ft. Rig that's saying something.

Buy a holder and use double back tape and mount on the door. If the door is closed it would be right there...
