3010ds Cable Not Working

Hello,
I am new to the forum and new to RVing. We just bought a new to us 2014 Sunseeker 3010ds and the cable does not work. We have tried to use cable in two separate parks and two separate coax cables.

Any ideas or suggestions on this issue?

Ahh help would be appreciated.

did you turn connect the park cable to the cable input port?
did you turn the antenna booster off?
did you do a channel scan?
does over the air work?

if OTA is working then most likely cable is not working. you need to turn the antenna ON (green light is on) for OTA and OFF (green light is off) for cable.

now where is it? who knows? they put them in many different places. but most likely it is on the wall behind one of the tv's. there will be a coax coming off the antenna booster to the tv. the antenna booster will be the same size as a standard electrical faceplate. there is a little push button the turns the little led indicator light on and off. take a look and turn it off then do a cable scan again and see if that solves the problem.

Since your OTA signal is working, that means the antenna booster button is ON. So cable signal won't work.

Ok thank you . I’ll look for the booster. There is a hub below the main tv that switches between tv, aux, dvd, etc.. I just about wore that thing out trying to run cable station scans on the tv.

I do know that the original owner had Dish Network hooked up and that apparently worked.

But I will attempt to find the booster.

Thank you. I’ll look for the booster. Let’s hope it’s easy to find. It’s gotta be right? LOL

look behind the tv to start with. or if you have multiple tv's look behind all of them. here's a way to look. go to each tv you have and find the coax cable that is attached to that tv. then follow that coax until it either enters the wall or is attached to the antenna booster.

Good advice. Thank you. I’ll let you know what I find.

Get yourself a 50 foot piece of cable plug it directly to tv and try a scan this will rule out everything in between then work back from there,
