Question 3010DS model DM2652 RBX freezer

Does anyone have suggestions on how to prevent the frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer compartment of this fridge ? Also the ice buildup/dripping on the stainless steel slats in the back of the fridge compartment ? Do you have to empty the freezer compartment & defrost once in awhile ?

Unfortunately, you are going to have to defrost from time to time. I haven't tried, but I'm guessing you could get by with only removing the contents of the freezer, if you could defrost it quickly enough. Use a hot pan of water or a hair dryer.
