This may sound stupid, but I just bought some chrome polish for my Wheel liners. Is there any trick to getting the liners off of the 2013 3010. I think it would be easier to polish them off the unit. Thought I would ask before I went to the garage with the wrong tools.
A "hubcap" tool from Harbor Freight Tools. On the end is a pry tool that easily removes the hubcaps and a rubber mallet to hammer them back on. Work the pry end around the cap until it pops off.
I have found a 20 OZ claw hammer works well. Just work your way around the wheel. Also since the liners are stainless not chrome, a good metal polish will work better.
Yes... 20oz Straight claw worked fine. Have to be careful working your way around the edges as to not bend the metal. All to unveil the hideous white wheel underneath.
