3170 Sunseeker jackknife couch

I read somewhere that the jackknife couch arms are removeable. Is that the case on the 3170? If so, how is it done. I don't want to break anything. Thanks.

Two single pins on opposite ends. Rock/teeter-totterer and pick up.

Yes, the pins are rods about 12" long. Pull hard,,harder,,harder still. Eh, they came up a little.
