3170DS FW Tank SLOW drain

Anyone else's FW tank drain super slow? It comes out extremely slow taking hours to drain. I have tried opening a faucet, leaving the filler cap off, etc and still just a trickle. I am trying to sanitize it and need to fill and flush repeatedly, at this process it will take days!

Maybe some debris stuck in drain hose. Try some low pressure air from drain hose into tank see if it clears.

On my 2014 3170, If I have a full 40gal and turn the drain valve a full quarter turn, it takes about 2-1/2 - 3 hours to drain. No debris, no kinks, just a small drain line. I usually start the process and do something else.

I've never timed it, but the 40 gallon tank in our Sunseeker 3100 drains in about 20 to 30 minutes. The drain is 1/2 inch pex tubing with a quarter turn valve.

If you want to speed it up, you could turn on the faucets and run the water pump. It's just clean water so you could let the gray tank drain on the ground.
