3170Ds slideouts

Does anyone know who makes the slideout mechanism for the Sunseeker slides?

There are two types. The couch or bedroom one?

The couch is a under mounted rack and pinion, I believe it's Lippert supplied. The bedroom is an in-wall Schwintech unit.

Thank you for the info. Wonder why the slides are different.

Different slide architecture. The Schwintech' are side mount, smaller and not floor level. The Lippert are floor level and designed to be flush when out.

The size of the bunk & wardrobe slides meant it needed a more compact system like the in-wall unit used. The above floor rack and pinion on the couch/kitchen slide is (IMHO) more robust and is why they used it for that application.....

Both are Lippert. (Lipert bought Schwintec). If we want to do the Schwintec''s up front we have to do all new seatbelt testing. I'm sure at some point we might standardize to one slide system.
