i went with the top picture but the white areas are the gold color too. And the dark is black with metal flake in it. It is beautiful. Absolutely love the color.

So what the heck mine does not match the colors shown. Is it custom then? I bought it off the lot. The picture below is of the one we just got.

i just noticed my graphics are different also.

Looks like the "Latte" color with the 2014 mask. Latte was a 2013 color but some dealers like it so much they keep ordering it.

Thanks. I was wondering why i could not find pictures that matched it online. Again, love the color. We get a lot of complements on it. Full paint just makes it stand out from all the rest.

I got the full body paint in 2012. It was called Champagne and I saw about 4 different graphic patterns on dealer lots. I was told FR does not paint them in house. Local shops are used which have different pattern masks so they are not all the same.

Pattern masks are all the same. Sometimes the exact paint codes are not. But we don't necessarily change the masks perfectly at model year. So you can have two different masks with two different colors in the same model year. We just tell people to buy what they see.

Not to argue or nit pick and it may be different now, but in 2012 I looked at probably 20 -30 of them in person and online trying to decide if I wanted paint. They were different on the same exact model in where the Sunseeker name was placed and where the pattern was placed up and down and for and aft. The general pattern mask appeared similar but it was not always placed in the same spot on the unit. That's not all bad as it made each one kind of custom and a little different than the others. Like what was said, buy what you see.

Great, Now I want full body paint again. Im doing my PDI on my soon to be mine 2014 Forester 3011ds tomorrow. Wife does not want paint, I do. Dealer had a great unit with all the options "I" wanted and then some, except for the full paint. It was at a good price without having to go back and forth $72,6 with every option except paint and satellite. Wife said lets doit. . Im really excited about picking it up tomorrow but part of me says I should have held out and ordered it with full paint.

Enjoy you paint jobs!!!
Next time for me.

Congrats on your purchase. I have the full body paint and love it but white can look great too. You can use some of the money saved to dress it up a little. Things like a Forest River windshield graphic, V10 engine decals on the hood, billet aluminum grill inserts, removal of that ugly front license plate holder if your state doesn't need one, a chrome exhaust tip, and some chrome or black alloy wheels to replace the ugly (IMHO) stainless wheel covers.
