??? about ordering a 3010ds

We are thinking about ordering a 3010ds at the end of this month or the beginning of next month for a May delivery. We have a few questions first.

1) Will the factory be able to delivery and meet that time frame or are they backed up filling dealerships for the summer?

2)Would it be possible to delete the window at the head board of the master bed?

3)Can we have factory installed 12V lights in all of the cargo bays?

4) 110v outlets next to both night stands?

5) Will all of the master power switches be on the main panel? Don't want to have to go outside to swap the water heater from gas to electric. All of my previous trailers have been wired with every thing to one panel.

6) Can we get it with the Ford trailer brake controller installed?

7)Do we need to request or will it come with:
The new sofa? not the jackknife sofa but the Versa sofa.
L.E.D. lights in the coach?
L.E.D. light strip on the side of the coach under the awning?
Two deep cycle coach batteries?
7500lbs. tow hitch?

1. We're already building April units. If you want it by May, I would act quickly.
2. If it's an exit window. No. Otherwise yes.
3. We put 12V lights in the big compartments. Not every compartment.
4. Possibly, if not its an easy add for the dealer.
5. More than likely for an order, yes. We just switched to Atwood water heaters. Electrical switch is on the inside panel
6. No. You can probably have a local Ford dealer install this. The panel and harness are there. We don't stock the part. Too expensive when there are aftermarket controllers that work just as well.
7. No. All of those are standard for new orders.

Thanks bclemens!!!

The answer to question 7 has made my day. The additional 12v lights in the cargo bay I can do my self along with the brake controller. It'll give me something to do.

And thanks for giving your personal time to respond to our (the consumers) posts. When a company has employees that support the product off the clock because they want to, well it makes me comfortable doing business with them and feel good about future customer service.
Thanks,

Will N.

This time of year its airplane, to hotel, to convention center. Helps pass the time.

Started the day off in Seattle where I met Scubadude62...nice enough to come out during my very limited time there today. Currently in Edmonton, AB if anyone wants to come out and buy a new motorhome.

If all goes well I should be ordering a 3010 on Monday.

I have a few more questions before I do.

Can someone post a good side view photo of the 2014 with full body paint or point me to a link with some good pic's? Both colors if possible. I have searched for images on the web but I cant find any quality photos. All are of an odd angle with sun glare or grainy. We are going with full paint but cant decide which color and we have not seen either color in person.

I am pre approved for ( 15 years)180mos @ 4.25% apr. with no early pay off penalty at my bank. We plan to pay it off in less then that. Any one know of a place that might offer a better apr that I can look into?

The platinum is pretty accurate. The Bordeaux is not the best. The darker color is a burgundy color.

I went to the local dealer today. I did not order the 3010ds with full body paint.....I put a deposit on a 2014 3011ds. Its on the lot and getting prepped. I will do the PDI later this week depending weather. It has all the options that I wanted and then some. The only thing it doesn't have is the full body paint and it has the 2013 water heater with the electrical switch out side.

The American way of immediate gratification and a price we could not pass on won over the beautiful looks of the full body paint.

Thanks for all the help with the quick replies to all of my ???
