Add external propane tank

Can any recommend the best and safest way to add an external propane tank to my 2017 Sunseeker 2700 please. I understand you can add a connection to the existing system but not sure what is the best option
Thank you in advance

Wayne

Most folks use an Extend-A-Stay kit for smaller LP bottles or call a local propane company and they can set you up with a large refillable bottle and plumb it in.

Connect Your R/V to External Propane

My husband installed the Extend A Stay and we carry a 20lb tank in the Towed. It's very handy.

I installed the extenda a stay but the hose with the fitting to attach a second tank would leak when the second tank wasn't attached so it would drain the main tank. I think they should add a quick connect and a shutoff for the tank so you can close the valve instead of relying on pressure to close the system.

So I installed it and uninstalled it.

The plug is to be in with the hose disconnected when not using the extra tank. Turn the main valve off, take the plug out and attach the hose then attach the external tank and open its valve. If you have to refill the external tank and want to use the on board tank, then you have to reverse the process. 5 minutes tops.
