Adding a roof ladder to the 2014 2250LE

Has anyone added a roof ladder to their 2250LE? In a previous thread bclemens had mentioned that it might be possible to add one. I've searched previous threads to see if anyone might have had one added
but I couldn't find any. At home, I use an old wooden ladder to get on the roof. At campgrounds, I usually stand on a picnic table to verify that there is no debris on the slide out cover before retracting
the slide out. There are probably many instances that a roof ladder could come in handy at home and at a campground. I haven't asked my local RV dealer yet. I thought I'd check with the Forum first.
Maybe a fold-up ladder stored in the side compartment might suffice, if they make fold-up ladders that tall that would fold up to fit in the side
compartment.

Short story :

My trailer came without a ladder. When I was visiting them for the water leak in the slide to be fixed I causally mentioned that I would take it to the dealer and have a laddar installed, and if the supports were there. They surprised me and stated not to do that. I was told they would be more than happy to install it for me if I come back in the spring. I inquired more and learned that a lot of the trailers which come back for water leak they receive were because of botched up dealer ladder installations.

I did visit them and they installed it for me, and I couldn't be happier, no leak yet ...

I bought one of those for my former TT. It stows very well in a pass-through of the TT and also in the back cargo compartment at the back of my 3171. I did try to stow it in the rear bumper and I think it did fit (that was a few months ago) but was snug but I thought against stowing it there versus the secured storage compartment. Now I've removed it altogether since I have yet to need it with the rear factory ladder.

As for the OP question, check to see if the blocking is there by pushing on the mounting locations on the back wall. Atwood/Kemberly is the ones that make most factory ladders. You might could write them for support with mounting instructions.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'll have to check the options mentioned.
We are still in the dead of winter here in Massachusetts so I have time
before I can go RV'ing again.
