Advise On Tow Dollies

We thoroughly researched the pros & cons of towing a dolly.
For us it's the best solution.
My question is which make & model are the best & safest.
We will be towing a 4 door Hyundai Sonata with a 3010DS,
with the Ford chassis.
Looking for suggestion from people that use a dolly on a regular basis.
Thanks for any help.

We are newbie full timers and like you I researched tow dolly as best as could. Knowing we were going to be using it a lot made me choose the Kar Kaddy SS. We bought because of quality build, ease to move, large wheels, and the fact that it folds up so it can be at campsite. Have driven from Pittsburgh pa to Rapid City S.D. then from Rapid City to Denver some serious miles with rough roads and bad weather. First didn't even know it was there, second it is easy to hook up and load the car.
So that's my review of the Kar Kaddy Ss

I'll have to look into that, thank you! We plan on doing some cross country traveling as I have family in TX and we'd like to go further, so we need something durable.

Got a used once Kar Kaddy SS for sale. If anyone wants it. Bought a new car and we are flat towing now. Nothing wrong with the Kaddy, just bought a new Jeep.

We purchased a EZ Tow dolly in May and use it with our Honda Accord and Nissan PU (5-speed manual). So far no big surprises. Getting quicker on the hookup each time I do it. Very good people to deal with and quality of dolly is top notch, all welded frame, no bolts. Easy to move around at campsite. Don't know the thing is behind our Forester 3011. Good luck which ever you choose.

I've been doing lots of research on tow dollies and narrowed down to the Kar Kaddy and the Landgrebe. I wanted one with wheels that steered so that narrowed the choices. I chose the Landgrebe mainly on price, but also, it is designed with fixed fenders. If you get the vehicle on the dolly between the fenders you don't have to worry about the fenders hitting the body when you turn.

I pull our RAV-4 on to the dolly, put it in park and turn off the engine. Then I strap down the front wheels, put on a set of magnetic tail lights and I'm ready to go. The ramps are fixed and the unit has a tilt mechanism

So far I have had no towing problems, the dolly is easy to hook up, and I don't know it is behind me.

I have a Master Tow with surge brakes. I really like the surge brakes. It also makes it easy to use with my pickup for needs such as picking up dead cars for my kids or relatives.

Acme Tow Dolly is the best system I've ever owned! My dolly has surge brakes, LED lights, great fenders, and best of all: loading ramps that I can remove after loading my Elantra GT. Had a tough time finding a dolly that my car's front spoiler would clear the front of the dolly but the Acme worked great! I also got a 10 year warranty on the axles which was important to me since we rack up a bunch of miles out on the highway. I purchased a spare tire and bought a tire holder from Tractor Supply to mount the spare tire on the front of the dolly! I couldn't beat the price, quality and ease of use with another dolly. A tow dolly should be simple yet reliable; minimizes the chances of something breaking down while out on the road!

Can you send a photo of where you mounted your spare tire? I also bought the Acme. Outstanding construction and only 405 lbs.
