Air Conditioner Stopped Working - On Generator

Today the AC unit stopped working in the Coach while the RV was running on generator power. I have tried turning the generator off and on again to see if it may reset. That didn't help.

I am on the road, in Florida of all places, and will not have electric hook up for a few hours. Something tells me it's not a power problem and that plugging in isn't going to help.

Is there a breaker switch, or reset button somewhere? I'm not able to find anything in the owners manual.

The AC works in the drivers cab. However, that's not enough to keep the family from melting.

Thank you in advance!

Brian

Does the microwave still have power with the generator running? If no, check the breaker on the generator. This happened to me last year. DW had the electric WH, A/C running and the DD tried using the microwave. It tripped the generator breaker. Generator still ran with no load.

Yes, that was it. Apparently, the refrigerator was set to use generator power when it was turned on, rather than propane. That extra power drain must have been enough to trip the breaker.

I looked at the generator initially for a breaker switch and did not see one. For those that may be looking for it: It's a small black switch, like a light switch, located near the on/off switch. If it is facing towards the camper, it's tripped. It should be facing you.

We are back in business. Thank you.
