Audio for back-up camera

Before I realized our backup camera had sound,,, I wondered why when I was backing up I would hear a lot of static ???

Remember the "Cell Phone Workaround" only works if the is service. Last trip, Palo Duro Canyon, I had service DW did not have service.

Mine is ATT, it worked. DW is Straight Talk, with IPhone 6, on Verizon. It may be the IPhone, it does not work well when she is at work, IPhones do not work in the building she works in.

I have no problem with my old Verizon flip phone anywhere !!!
+ the battery never seems to need to be recharged !!!
When we had Sprint we would have to go outdoors to get it to work !!!

Got a 2017 and definitely hear what is going on behind me. Van even adjust the volume as well.
