Autumn Maintenance Suggestions?
New RV owners here...bought our 2011 Sunseeker 2300 with 6000 miles on it in April. Since then we've doubled the mileage ...enjoyed 2 month-long adventures and a few couple-week excursions.
Planning to take a few weeks between trips now to get some things done at home and take care of MH maintenance tasks before we head south to stay warm for a few months.
We plan to change the oil, wash and wax, inspect and redo some of the sealants on the roof, rotate the tires...
Could use some advice....
What wax should we use and how often? (have to admit we haven't made waxing a maintenance task in other vehicles we've owned)
What tools and supplies should we get before heading up to check on the roof?
Should tires be rotated regularly, even if they are not showing uneven wear? How often should we plan to buy new tires?
What other tasks should we make a part of our maintenance routine?
We have about 90 hours on our generator now... any concerns to address there?
We are learning... slowly but surely... with lots of help and advice!
