You will have to replace the complete length. You can go to any rv dealer, camping world, walmart, or amazon and get the length you need. They are 12VDC unless you have the multi-colored strip then it will most likely be 24VDC with a controller.

RGB is not necessarily 24VDC.

I've installed hundreds of meters on different vehicles using 12VDC no problem. Even my own.

There are many things to consider when replacing a light strip. Width of channeling, wire routing, do you want SMD? 50/50? RGB50/50? 3528? COB? Termination points? IP68 or nah?

Mike, did you have any luck replacing it? Mine is probably 1/2 out as well. I’ve looked but don’t see how the lights are hooked into the wiring. I don’t won’t to go ripping out a bunch of stuff for just a string of lights. But if someone says it’s easy...

Are aftermarket LED lights available that just slide into the awning track?

Highly recommend these: https://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-2...?rmmds=myorder

They just slide right into the track after you slide the old one out. For $10, you also get color.

Place lights on the side of the HM, use the switch to control them. I am Planning to do this on mine. Mounting them on the roller does not make sense to me or the DW.

I'm looking to replace my set, three quarters of the lights are out. The one link provided seemed to have an adapter that the lights we plugged into. The RV lights are hard wired into a 12 volt connection.

Could someone send a link of something they bought that replaced what is there already on the Sunseeker?
