Awning LED lights failing

LED awning lights seem to be failing after only 2 years.

There are 3 sections of LEDs that are burnt out.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Yes. Mine are just two years old. If left on some seem to come bad on but not all. Bummed!

I am on my second season using mine and have the same issue. At this time the majority work. I would not mind a few more going out as that baby is way to bright at night.

It is a shame that it is failing. DW felt down when another camper pointed it out. But, now the DW sees it as an item to fixed.

My plan for the day it gets too bad is to replace it with a strip that can change colors and brightness.

I bought my RV used and it was 1.5 years old and the lights were out. The RV lot put new ones on that failed within a couple uses. I have yet to replace them. I have seen some YouTube videos on them so may just get some and do it myself.

About 1/2 of the string has failed after 6 or so uses. Failed under warranty, but was not worth the 250 mile round trip to the dealer. I'll replace it "someday".

Replaced the whole strip and had it hard wired to the existing wire. Brand name Diamond Daylight White 16' LED Strip Light Kit. Install by local RV Shop, I just had a knee replacement so the shop did it for me. Lights cost $90.00 but worth it much more bright light then the original ones. 🖒👀🖒

The lights on our 2650s were mostly burned out when we got it used. Replaced the whole strip. Works perfect now. Montreal led. Around $100.00

Same issue with my 2014 Surveyor Select during the second season of use. I have 2 sections of abt. 3-4 inches with dead lights. All worked when winter stored in 2015.

You can get them on Amazon for about ten bucks in several colors. It's a very easy install. Pull the old ones down, cut the two wires, peel and stick the new one, attach the two wires, and new lights.
