Awning repair

The awning over my slide is showing wear at the edge. Has anyone had any good experience with the awning tape that camco or other companies sell. Any other suggestions for repair are welcomed.

Thanks

The tape didn't last very long and even though I took great care to clean and apply, it just didn't last.

Just order new fabric and replace.

Are you calling a "slide topper" a Awning? Some awning rub when they go over the slides! Youroo!!

The widely used term for your awning over the slide is "slide topper". It might be good to use that term when inquiring about cost with the manufacturer if you plan to replace. If the issue is a narrow band of deterioration perhaps cutting a straight edge off will suffice. The material will not unravel.
