I have the same unit but that has never happened to me. Did you check your battery? Is your battery disconnect switch on?

What year is it ? Is it a dometic awning ? When you hit the switch do you hear a click from the awning motor or a click from inside the vehicle ? Check the fuse and if the fuse is good here is what I found with mine. If you open the panel in the foot well you will see the awning fuse and right next to it is a wire coming out of the circuitboard. I don't know if you have a circuit tester but what I found on mine is that even though the fuse was good there was no power coming out of the wire next to it to go to the awning motor so there was an issue with the little board but fortunately there are a bunch of empty fuse sockets so I simply moved it down to the next one and swapped the wire down with it and awning works fine. This would only apply if the clicking you hear is not your awning motor trying to move it out

I think there's an electrical connector near the motor. If so would you be able to disconnect it and use a meter to see if it's getting power when the button is pressed? If it is then the motor must be bad.

Check the outside track along the wall sometime it will close to tight, if not it could be the electric motor on the awning that about $375.00 for that little motor, good luck...🖒

Bad batteries that were not holding a charge caused my awning fuses to pop
I had every suggestion under the Sun including install new motor and listen to this one,put in a higher amp fuse (don't do that)
Finally a mobile repair guy figured out my batteries were the problem
Two new Interstates and I have never had another problem.

Do you know which models were under a recall from Dometic? How did you find out about the recall?
