Good Times, we have the same unit with the separate monitor where a rear view mirror would be. Yes, you can cycle through the view with either the remote or touchpad and leave it on all the time. The Default is it comes on with either turn signal or reverse. For long night driving, I cycle through each camera using the remote and turn the brightness waaaay down for each so I can still use it.

Wire it into your parking lights so that when you turn on your parking lights it will come on. It is now likely wired into your back-up lights.

I have an intermittent problem with my backup camera. I usually put it on while towing our road. Stopped working on a memorial weekend trip. I sprayed contact cleaner in the wire where the camera is in the back and put a silicone around the wire after it dried. Thought it was fixed because I went out several times that week and the camera was working. I pull it out to hook up to toad for another trip and it's working pulling out of driveway. Hook up the road and set off and not working again. It's strange because every time I check it while not hooked up it seems to work, but not when I actually need it. Doesn't work in reverse either. I get the blue screen that says no signal.
Originally when it happened I called the camera company and the girl I spoke to told me to look under the dash for the silver box and try connecting to a different input. I didn't see the box she was talking about. Definitely a mystery!

If you have a Rear View Safety camera system, you have a monitor in place of the rear view mirror. On the right side of the screen is a vertical row of screen touch buttons. The bottom button is the on/off, but touching one of the other buttons has worked for me. However, if you have no reverse camera, it is either a bad camera or a bad connection. If it is intermittent, it is more likely a connection. The hardest problem to solve is when it works sometimes.

I have a Tadi Bros remote camera on my camper, used in conjunction with a Rand McNally RV GPS, that also has a camera monitor function. I can switch between navigation and the camera monitor to see what's going on behind me or use it to back up.

I have the basic Furion backup camera and about 45' to cover between antenna and monitor. I am looking for a way to boost or extend the antenna. Any ideas would be appreciated.
