Backup Camera

My 2014 Sunseeker is equipped with the standards rear view camera. We use the remote to change the camera views from the side view to rear, but we never been able to use the volume control on the rear camera. Is the coach even equipped with audio for the camera? Ive tried turning the volume all the way up with remote. Would be nice when backing into a spot.

Audio only works when vehicle is in reverse. Put in reverse then turn volume up. If you have the camera on all the time, it will show video and audio will switch on and off in and out of reverse.

Hmmm. My audio doesn't work in mine in reverse either, never has. Must be an issue somewhere...

I've posted this a few times...I wish I could remember where so I could just link each time.

Long story short, blue wire needs to be hooked up off of the video control box. Probably not at this time.

No. He was asking about the back up camera. The video control box (Multiplexer) has a blue wire that needs to be hooked to the reverse wire.

Any idea where I might find this "multiplexer" in a 2900 Ford?

It's behind the "hush panel". The panel right below the steering wheel. Just pulls open from the top.

Have your wife go to the rear of the unit, while you are backing up and tell her to yell STOP......I can hear the wind blowing on mine...

Haha. The wife screaming stop isn't what I ws looking for!

Bclemens, I located the multiplexer. The blue wire comes out of it with some other wires, all in one plug. I did find one blue wire( I suppose the other end) that has a thin rubber plug or cap on the end. Doesn't tie into anything. Is this the wire you referenced. If it is, I'm not sure which wire to tie it into. May have to save that for a tech. Any ideas?
