I have had to replace batteries within a year or two of buying a new MH. If they sit dead discharged at the dealer, it dramatically shortens the life of the batteries.
3010DS 2014
Had to replace both of mine a few months after purchasing it, They would not replace them under waranty, The MH sat fo 11 months on the dealer lot. Took it in and they said the batterys were fine. 2 batterys would not make it thorugh the night with the furnace only cycling 5 time during the night. Replaced them with Trojans. Been great ever since.
Thanks just installed two new Interstates
Stickers on factory Bats was 2013
So normal I guess

almost a year today, i picked up a 2014 2860 drove mostly none stop from pa to sd and house batteries where dead dealer in piedmont did replace them and sent bill to dealer i purchased from
My experience with 2 different dealers is that they neglect the house batteries when you bring in the unit for repair. I believe all coaches has some parasitic drain that will kill your battery within a matter of a week or so even with the battery switch turned off. It's happened to me twice. I even called the dealer after dropping off my coach to physically disconnect the house battery. It did not happen, coach was there 2 months and battery was dead when I picked it up. My suggestion, when you deliver your coach to the dealer for repair, disconnect the house battery (ies) yourself upon dropping it off. Many install a master switch on the battery to do this task.
Ours was delivered with a "dual purpose" aka cranking battery-not deep cycle. Since our Vibe has only the single battery-and I wonder how this dealer's crew zips their own pants without help, I'll just put a proper battery in myself.
