Battery Disconnect

I have a 2004 Sunseeker 3100 LE. When I use the battery disconnect, it seems to work, as all of the powered items seem to 'go dark.' However, when I come back to the unit a few weeks later and flip the switch to reconnect the power---the batteries are dead. Oddly, if I leave the disconnect switch off....it seems that the batteries actually stay charged longer before draining. Obviously there is some sort of parasitic draw somewhere. Any ideas? Could it be the battery disconnect relay that is back by the battery tray under the unit? Any ideas are appreciated.

On my camper I disconnect the negative battery terminal. I didn't have a factory disconnect in place. I would have installed on but several things like the landing gear and storage lights come off the battery before hitting the breaker box anyways.

Could have something like that causing a draw before you swtich.

One draw is the CO/LP detector. They are always on. There may be other draws. Best to use the disconnect and remove the ground from the battery.

Is there any other wire branching off between your battery disconnect switch and the terminal of the battery?
