I have a 2002 Sunseeker 2900. The rear battery has dry cells.There are not any markings on the battery for what size and cca I need to replace it with. Any suggestions?
No manuals or anything to go through to see if you can find any specs on it? I would call the manufacturer, they've been a great help to my questions on my older unit
distilled water only, then recharge hopefully with a smart charger...
take the battery to any auto parts store if it does not recharge... compare shape/size and WEIGHT to the batteries on the shelf. The heavier the battery the more CCA it will have and the more expensive it will be. There are only a few different CCA specs within a size.

The house battery needs to be a deep cycle battery. It is dual purpose. You’ll need enough CCA to turn the engine over when necessary (and to start your generator!) along with enough AH to run your lights and inverter if you have one. You can’t go wrong with extra AH. The biggest issue is usually making sure that you get the same size (Group) so it fits where the old ones were. I wouldn’t trust dry batteries. Flooded batteries are designed to be wet.
Personally, I would replace it with the largest battery that would fit in the space. A group 27 or even a group 31 if they would fit. As said above, whatever you get needs to be a deep cycle battery.
