I had issues with mine too, I'm thinking sawdust from construction got into it and clogged it.

Okay let me be more specific. I didn't want to tell this part. I made a dumb rookie mistake. I mistakenly hooked up fresh water line to flush valve and walked away. When I realized what I had done black tank was full and seems like it even filled grey water tank. Now flush will not work. What have I done? How can I fix it?

I have the same problem of black tank flush valve seems stopped up. I made the mistake of hooking fresh water line to flush valve and walked away. When I realized what I had done the black tank was full and seemed like the grey tank had filled. How do I fix this so my flush valve will work and I can flush my black tank again?

I'm a little confused if your black tank filled when you hooked up to the tank flush system then the system is working. Its not a good idea to flush your tank without having the dump valve open. If your tank if full dump it

It may be that when you filled the tank full something got into the nozzles

I replaced the cheap plastic backflow preventer with a good brass one. I've read enough stories about the plastic ones leaking eventually. http://www.watts.com/pages/_products...s.asp?pid=7452
On mine the connections were not tightened properly at the factory and it sprayed water all over the inside of my bathroom vanity. Fortunately I found it with only about a gallon of water escaping into the cabinet.

John, if you filled up your black water tank by walking away then it sounds like the flush nozzle is working. Mine would not spray any water whatsoever into the tank. The flush valve is designed to be used with the black tank main dump valve open. If you don't and just turn it on with the valve shut it fills the tank up. If the water level in the black tank reaches the level of the spray nozzle then the nozzle is worthless as it's spraying the water into water. Think of your garden hose with a spray nozzle - if you spray it into the air it's forceful and goes a good distance. If you stick the nozzle into a bucket of water and spray it the water just mingles with the rest of the water without a lot of pressure.

Blank tank contained a piece of wood flooring

I don't know the age of your unit, but attaching to the wrong connector makes me think recent purchase? There is unfortunately occasional construction debris. Our 3010 is 6 weeks old and the black has always seemed slow to empty. Last week I fished a crescent shaped piece of wood flooring, perhaps from a 4" circle, out of the drain hose that was causing a bit of a backup. I have read elsewhere of others finding similar in theirs.

Forester Fred you misunderstood. My intention was not to flush black tank. I mistakenly hooked to wrong inlet. My intent was hooking up fresh water.

John, don't feel too bad. We are new at this too. On our most recent trip, rolled in after dark and a 6hr drive....... did all the hook-ups. Me, "OK, all hooked uo and pump off" Her "there's no water, turn the pump on" Me "we dont need the pump, we're hooked to city"...... pause ..... listening to water flowing somewhere.... hit the black tank level and see that what was once empty is now half full. Went back outside, swapped to the correct connector and dumped the black. Me "ok honey, try it again, maybe it had air in the line... " heh heh

That is exactly what I did. I hooked to flush meaning to hook to fresh water. Now my flush will not work. Seems stopped up. Don't know how to correct this.
