Blown LED tail light

We were told by our dealer that we need new LED tail lights do to moisture behind the curb side lens resulting in three blown LEDs. Our dealer says 4 to 14 days to receive .If your lens look foggy ,that is moisture.

I had one replaced.
The culprit is the reverse light lense.
On my 2016- it had 2 screws holding it.
I ordered a replacement unit.
On the new one I received- it has 3- much better seal.
When you replace your Geeman, check for that.
If the other lamp has 2, take the lense off and seal it with some clear silicone before reinstalling.
I siliconed both of them- no moisture now.
Just a poor initial design on these new LED's.

The dealer is installing , but I can speak to the tech. I believe they ordered two. Thanks for the heads up .

Both taillights to be replaced ,Friday-6/3 .

X2 on sealant. Mine had moisture shortly after delivery. I removed the back up lens to let it dry, sealed and re-installed. Never an issue since.

Our' SS is under warranty , so our dealer gets the job.
