The parking brake thing is ONLY for the dash screen. You also need to look at the following two items that were posted on here prior.

Excellent, I'll take a look at the remote the next time we have it out.

Any suggestion on the auto leveling jacks?

I was on a paved pad where if I didnt have auto leveling I would have raised the back by driving on 1.5" blocks.
I was pretty surprised the auto leveler tweaked the chassis so much the bathroom door wouldn't open.
We retracted the jacks all weekend and no one cared, but I don't like having these jacks the dealer told me were already adjusted working like this.

It was level with the auto levelers. I think it raised the chassis higher than it needed though.

We have a magnadyne in dash DVDs that sends the movie to the cab over bunk. The quality isn't that great. We stopped at Walmart and bought a $90 portable did player with a 12 volt plug and direct hooked up. Now no issues, kids can change movies when they want.

It's pretty much the same thing. The TV portion is the same, the Radio portion you will select AV1 or AV2 on the stereo.

I have a 3170 also. I did the big foot level system. No problems. Yours may not be set correctly. It showed to be same system installed at factory It's the full auto or manual system. I pull in and push the auto button and it sets up.

I use the manual setting on my big foots. It lifts the rear too much on auto. Easy in manual mode and almost as fast. IMHO.

I have a 3171 on order, should be here the end of June. I am new to slide outs and big foot jacks. Would like to know what type of maintenance or problems I might be looking at. Thx, Ben

You can calibrate the auto level jacks. Press front button 5x. Then press back button 5x. Lights will blink, wait for it to go out. Manually put the levels out and manually level it. When you got it perfect, press retract button 3x. Lights will blink, now it's stored. Retract them, press auto, see if it works.
