Braking system
Hello All,
I have a class C 32 ft sunseeker, and I am going to be pulling a suzuki sidekick. Just wondering what type of braking system I should get.

I have a 32 ft Sunseeker and I use Invisibrake. I pull a 2012 Equinox and there is no settings or daily adjustments. I did not want something I had to attach to the brake each day before leaving. I think you would be happy with it.

Each to their own... i use a patriot on a jeep JK. Only one season thus far, but still like it.

I should say, I use rvi2 with the TPMS on my Subrau Outback. Works great for me.

We just went thru all this getting our new CRV outfitted to tow. Had the switch installed needed to prevent the need to pull the fuse the manual mentions. However when the switch is on it also turns off the 12volt socket needed for the braking system  DH is going to wire a socket directly to the battery. First trip out with the toad next weekend !! We chose the Blue Ox complete setup.

Rvi brake has a kit for this, complete with 30amp fuse and heavy duty socket. Easy install. Also, check out their charging kit.

Tks Garrette....looked, at the cost on this kit $20. Very reasonable. Think DH spent about $25. But I think he got a couple of other things  What would we do with out this website !!!!
Also when you install the tow battery charger wonder if it will allow you to leave the fuse switch on ? Our manual on the CRV specifically states to remove the fuse before towing. Since ours is new and we don't want any issues with the warranty.

It just connects directly to the battery and the incoming 12volt leg from the RV via your power umbilical. Pull power from the plug on the toad.

I do not see it changing your setup. You would still use your switch as instructed. If you are taking only short trips, i would not worry about the battery charger. I plan to instsll because we are planning cross country next year.

I understand your concerns about warranty. We purchased a Subaru and i explained to the dealer what we were going to do to get the Subaru ready for towing. The salesman and maint manager stated that it would not impact the warranty on my Subaru, but they wanted to sale a car. Should have gotten it in writing.

Geez Paul GA...that's kinda rough...most dealers are decent enough but a few jerks make us all look bad! As the owner of a Subaru dealership I can tell you that as long as it has a manual transmission the Outback is fine to tow four down (never on a dolly!). As a matter fact my father tows one behind his bus with no problems.
