Build date mbs 2400r

I read in another post that there is an 8 to 10 week wait for units order now plus 2 weeks for paint. Our dealer ordered our unit (mbs 2400r with full body paint) on 7/15/15. Is the 8 to 12 week time frame for this model ordered mid July accurate?

From what we were told at Goshen Paint work is not done in house and is sent out with about a 1 week stay for paint. Yours should be on time. Later RJD

PM me your information and I'll be able to get you an offline date. I just need the dealer and your name.

We ordered our MBS 2400R (with full body paint) on May 19th and it arrived on August 5th. Right at 11 weeks.

sunseeker 2400r

Just found out today that our unit is due the week of Sept 14. I would be interested in knowing how you like yours and any issues you might have. Thanks again for your reply to my post.

As a matter of fact, I posted "MBS First Trip Report" 2 threads down that highlights a few things. I am sure you will enjoy your new MBS, we do.

No real issues except for minor trim "stuff". The worst of it is paint issues that are being touched up next week. You can read about our PDI experience and the issues we found during it Here.

I did carefully check our "W" during the PDI for any of the known issues reported here. Dump valve cable routing and the diesel generator running the AC were the big two. No issues with either of those bugs so far...

How do we like it? It's great! We really enjoy our "W". The floor plan has a lot of open space and all the storage we need. Even with the slide out in we can get to all the areas we need to access. The MBS chassis is a pleasure to drive, it handles well and is very responsive. I think I may have finally found the "right" RV for us....
