Cab/Cab Over area

My wife is bugging me to do something with the cab area and the cab over area to better utilize the space when we are parked. Has anyone done anything with those areas? Post pictures I would love some ideas.

Over Cab Bed

We never plan to use this bed. I removed the mattress and the dumb little storage cabinet. I installed a wall plug on the right side wall using the wire to the cabinet plug. I have a 2.5 cf. front opening freezer that fits good on the right side with RV TV anchors on base. We fulltimed for 15 years with a 5th wheel and missed all the storage in the basement, so this area holds much of stuff we kept in the basement, including the freezer. I use a cargo net from our last minivan to wrap around stuff when we travel. This is where I keep my satellite receiver and DVD player.

Good idea. I like the carpet to prevent sliding.

What would be you guess as the weight of the fridge loaded? Not sure if it is to much weight for that area.

The double mattress, 2 people, I don't think the little 30" 2 1/2 cu ft freezer comes close! Empty weight is less than the mattress.
