Hit the link, then menu, then FAQ, then scroll down until you get to "can I use the existing cable input on my RV for satellite TV". Click on the underlined "this article" and it downloads a .pdf for you to read.

Maybe......maybe not. All of these RV manufacturers are notorius for not knowing how to wire for satellite. They likely have splitters installed and they will be the cheapest ones made. They will not be "power pass" splitters. If you have any splitters between the reciever and dish they have to be power pass ones or no signal. Thevdish requires power from the reciever. Also they most likely left all the connections loose and improperly attached the coaxial connectors. I have had to go over and check everything on 3 new trailers. To their credit Rockwood got it right on our 2017 roo except for leaving connections loose. It has two onputs outside, one for cable and one for satellite.

Also what giddyupgo says. The booster can not be in line from receiver to dish.

Sometimes its as easy as pulling your cable plate off inside, removing the cable in and moving it over to the satellite in connection (on the same plate). If you do this, the satellite will only feed the indoor TV, but you'll have more than nothing.

That's a good point. They seem to wire them all different and change often. Our 2017 Roo is the first that has has a dedicated home run from an outside input labled satellite directly to an inside connection labled satellite in addition to the outside one labled cable which is connected to the amp plates cable port. Its all easy to figure out. Especially if they used color coded RG. I never even knew they made pink and purple coaxial cable LOL.

mom, most likely, your coax to the main tv in the coach should be plugged into one of these.

I found it, we're going to play with it tomorrow. We are in Cosby, TN on vacation from our kids. Can't get this simple thing to work, my mom had a heart attack last night, surgery this morning and Monday and I'm very frazzled. Thanks for your encouragement and patience.

We have two sat receiver in our trailer. Also have off air at both. I have never been in park at all with cable. One park with cable that was horrible.
