Changed floor plans

Probably old news but just noticed the 3120 is no more and there are some changed plans posted on FR website.

I don't see the 2250LE either.

Which ones have changed?

2250 shows under the Forester nameplate. 2900 and 3100 are also gone I guess replaced by the 2500 and 2700. Only non-slide is the 2300.

Changed floor plans

Interesting. This came up a month or so ago. I recall Brian saying they decided to keep the 3100. I know he commented on some other models too but we own a 3100 so that's the one I remember. Must have killed it off in the end. I know it's an older design but we think it is (was) the best of the bunch all things considered. Must check the website now see what's new.

I just checked the website - specifically the "floorplans" link (not the brochures). It's kind of weird. Maybe they're not done posting all the changes yet.

From what I could tell all models are on both the Sunseeker & Forester nameplates with the following exceptions:

- 3100 is not available in the Sunseeker line but is available as a 3101 in the Forester line.
(RV Direct dot com shows that you can still special order a Sunseeker 3100 though).

- Same with the LE variations. The 2250 LE is not available in the Sunseeker line but is available as a 2251 LE (both Ford & Chevy) in the Forester line.
(Seems surprising to me. I *thought* the LE's purpose was to get to a price point & they removed a few things to get there. But then to make it available only in the more feature rich & expensive Forester seems kind of counter intuitive.)

note: this was all as of this posting date / time & could change.

Unlike other Foresters, the 2251LE was identical to the SS version.

That is correct. 2250 & 2251 have their own brochure so not to be confused with the other models and specs. They are built the same on the floor plan only, because as it was said...would be counterintuitive to build a price leader and add all those items in. 2250 & 2251 are still available.

3100 is still available, we just caught that one the brochure and they update the website off of the brochure. We'll be fixing that soon.

I think from now on...we'll "Crowd source" the brochures. I will post them on here, everyone can proof them because I can look at them 100 times and every time I find something I did not see before. Then our designed ultimately misses at least 2 of the corrections I give him.

So if everyone is OK with that. You're all hired. (PS, this new position is title only. No pay...so think of a really good title that sounds really important because that's all you're getting)

Understand the "crowd source" comments. Here's one. Assuming the Foresters have the new aero nose there are still a number of photos of the old nose on the Forester web pages.

Our goal this year is to do a 4 page brochure with specs and floor plans. Try and get more pictures up on the website instead of waiting for all the pictures before we go to print. We'll update pics as we go along.
