You should probably write Forest River and tell them. On page 10 of the 2015 owner's manual, Forest River calls it a VIN:

I pulled the paperwork on our 2018 Sunseeker and both MSO's used the Ford 2016 chassis VIN. It is titled and registered as a 2018 FR Sunseeker off the FR MSO, not as the Ford incomplete chassis.

Our previous motor home, a 2017 Sunseeker, had a FR 4X4 VIN and a Ford VIN. The Ford incomplete chassis VIN was used for the title and registration on it. The FR VIN did not appear on any of the Georgia state paperwork.

So now I've seen FR do their MSO two two ways... When our 2019 Sunseeker 2500TSF arrives in a month or so that will be the "tie" breaker...

Just went out and looked. Our unit is a 2018 manufactured in 10/2017 on a 2017 chassis.
I found 4 stickers with the vin. One yellow sticker in coach door jamb. One yellow and two white stickers in the cab drivers door jamb. They all have only the Ford VIN 1FDX prefix. No 4X4 Forest River number to be found.

Yep, that's where I'm at too. Chassis 1/2018, coach 2/2018.

Bob k,My vin #don't read any thing like what is u posted off page 15 and I've dealt with FR with the MSO numbers that again don't sequence the reference pge 15 and FR accepted what was on thier mso,I had a nasty blow out with the dealer,RegUS,Bank once I contacted CFPB,US senators office,US controllers of Currency,NYS Atty Gen Office and it got straighten out in a month,the dealer was playing games!
