Not sure on your Motorhome. On our 2012 Solera, it was a combo CO and propane detector located just above the stairs on the left side. I have replaced with a dedicated propane detector in the same spot and a dedicated CO detector on the wardrobe wall above the dinette.

You are going to need to tell us what kind, make, model, year of the RV you have. Also put that information in your signature so the next time you have a question we will be able to help easier. If it is a combo LP/CO detector it will be mounted near the floor. If is a CO only detector it may be on the ceiling in the bedroom.

Harry "twothumbs" though he would help the DW before we made our latest beach run two weeks ago. So.... I sprayed a tad bit of areosol disinfectant in the powder room and by the bath sink. I darn know where the CO2 dector is now. It does not like lysol type products... and it will tell you so.

Yes, DW sometimes sprays a little air freshener or a little hair spray without turning on the vent fan and the CO/LP (CO2 is carbon dioxide, CO is carbon monoxide) detector will act up. Usually have a fan blow on it for a while and it will clear but the last time it wouldn't quit until I cut the wire to it, I have since hooked it back up and also found a 1.5A fuse to stop it temporarily rather than cutting the wire lead.
Hoglou I see you are in Carrollton, do you come to the club meetings for WGARS.

Joycie take a look under the dinette. Black panel on forward facing seat. Probably dual CO/Propane
