I should note that I was driving it maybe 15 minutes before the photos, hence the heat signature from the engine and tires (with surprising intensity). Of course a couple underside shots show traces of tailpipe heat too. One thing I wish I had was a shot with an electric heater keeping the inside warm to see hwo much heat is lost through the furnace when not on (since it is nothing but a couple layers of sheet metal, I assume it is a significant loss point, although I don't know if much can be done about that given the nature of what it is doing, short of an active thermal layer (something like what the stove vent does), and that would probably be a potentially dangerous function, so I wouldn't ever expect to see it in production. The engineer in me can't help but breaming up ideal cold weather camper scenarios. Sadly they all have massive theoretical price tags, kind of like the EarthRoamer units.
Back to the original point, anyone else have any experience winterizing one of these units? Anything I've missed?
