Colored Glass versus Full Paint

I know we have been questioned a few times why we don't offer a colored glass on Class C's, I just wanted to add some data that led to this decision.

I think colored glass might be a good alternative to white when paint is not an option...but colored glass is not a good alternative to full body automotive paint.

For one, you can't get colored glass on everything so some parts will always be painted (fridge vent, trim, etc) so we were always concerned about different fade rates. The attached testing just confirms that.

Paint is certainly the best option for long life. If cost is an issue, white gel coat is 2nd best option.

Please do not take this as a pitch against colored glass. Simply why we choose not to offer it in place of full body paint.
