Someone posted a similar issue on an RV Facebook page. Said that FR is having the dealer fix it.

Here is service's number, 574-206-7600, call them and tell them your location and issue. Make sure to take detailed pictures for them to see the issue.

i really can't believe all the BS FR is getting away with. it just seems never ending one after another horror story of the crap they are puutung out and then to add to the slap in the face is the crappy repairs they come up with.

If you decide to trade go with Thor or Fleetwood both of those companies were really good to me as far as warranty repairs above and beyond what was expected

Just to clarify this is the fiberglass on the bottom of the coach not a sidewall. We use the fiberglass in place of Darko for extra reinforcement. Having it epoxied should not be an issue.

Joshua you are saying that the crack is underneath the rv not on the sidewall and will it be visible when finished I thought it was running down the sides

It is underneath the coach. You can see the rear axle in the back of the picture. The crack is cosmetic but it depends on how extensive Brandit and the dealer want to go with the repair.

Heck reseal it and then rhino line the undercarriage. You'll never see it again and you'll be impervious to rust on the rest of the frame. You're walking around on wood and not fiberglass so I wouldn't be too worried about that crack as long as it gets sealed to prevent water penetration.

From the sounds of it service is working with Brandit and giving some direction of what steps to take.

To say this is cosmetic is misleading at best...I have a very similar one towards the front of my Forester (2013 3171 DS) that I only discovered because the floor was soft! The crack in mine goes all the way to the floor covering. I added a brace between chassis floor supports to fix it. Will also under coat when I'm satisfied with it. I'll m super careful with the levelers, but not sure how else something like this could happen.
