Dining Table

My Table is 32" tall. This makes setting at table writing letters gets uncomfortable after a while. Most tables are 29". Has anyone tried lowering their table? I called the 800 number on the table and they said they build it 29", but Forest River installs above the wire run down the side of the wall/floor, making it higher than designed.

They were supposed to make us a table that was 2" shorter to accommodate the wiring run. Maybe that never happened. If you look underneath, I wonder if you could drop the table 3" and just add another stop for the lever?

Thumbs up Table Too High

O. K. thanks. I moved the lock rod out to the edge of the table and was able to cut a new notch in the track so it the table is now 29".
