Theft has always been my main concern, but feel pretty safe with the storage facility we have been using, so it's staying in.

I leave the indoor tvs IN, but I do remove my outside TV since it could easily be taken if someone knew what was really behind the panel outside.
First winter I owned my new 3050, someone broke into it at a storage yard and JUST stole the navigation unit. $4500 damage for a new door and paint,,,,so pissed!

If in storage, use a place that has security gate and lights, cameras are a bonus.

I had a security system installed in my 3050 so at least now I feel a bit better

I guess one would remove the TV(s) for one of two reasons; theft concerns or cold temperature concerns. My 2860DS is parked on a pad next to my garage all winter, so theft is not too much of a concern. I periodically get in the unit all winter to run the generator etc... and turn on the tv, even with temperatures below zero, never had an issue. Maybe I was just lucky.

Motion detector lights also make a difference.
