dometic 13500 in sunseeker 3100ss

recently had complete power failure in the ac/heat. problem traced to the 3 amp fuse on a circuit board in the power control box above the air filter. fuse had blown for no known reason. was still under warranty so had it fixed. they replaced the whole control box. i asked the tech if this was common or what. he said he had replaced 10 of these boxes and he is from a small repair service and he had the part in stock. this tells me there must be a factory prob. has anyone else heard of this or had this problem?

My 13500 Dometic did the same thing- blew that fuse. I changed my thermostat, and replaced the plug end on my 25 foot RV power cable, the plug had gotten hot at one time, and the prongs looked sort of cooked, and now I haven't had any more problems with the A/C. Randy
