Draining fresh water tank 2015 Sunseeker 2500 tsf
I want to drain the fresh water tank and this is what I see. The Red hose is for the Hot water (as I understand it) and Blue for cold. Am I missing something here? Where is the cold water drain valve? Is there another step I am missing here? I looked everywhere I think for a valve inside the coach to no avail. Thanks for all help.

This looks like your (Low point) drains. Your F/W tank should have its own valve. Q,does water flow out of this Pex tube when on (Pump or City water? Youroo!!

No. And the fresh water tank was filled at dealer. That is why I was surprised that the tank didn't empty on it's own. That's why I thought there would be a cap on the blue to open drain.

Yes, Both work great. Tested on city hook-ups and holding tank. No problems. Just can't figure out how to drain fresh water tank now.

Bisnsa yes. We looked in there and nothing really jumped out as a valve. This model has the fuse box and converter under the split bed slideout.

On mine, the valve for the FW drain (blue line) is located beside the water filter in a right rear outside compartment.

Find the fresh water tank. You may have several points at which you can see it, like from the storage doors on either side, or from under the bed. Somewhere near the tank is a small petcock, with a line running to the tank, and another line coming out of the petcock and running into the floor. That should be the drain. Look under the rig, where that line comes out. It should be a plain line, with no cap on it. That is the fresh water tank drain. Turn the petcock, and it should start draining. Be sure to close the petcock after draining, so no insects crawl up it into your tank. Long shot but it happens.

MrJoe. You were right on the mark. It was right where you said. ARRGGHH...but now I have to rethink "AGAIN" my compartment usage for the forth time LOL. It seems like every time we go out I need to reorganize equipment usage into different compartments for accessibility. Thanks all for the quick responses and help. I hope that someday I will be knowledgeable enough to help someone else.

There is a drain valve in the same compartment as the water filer in the right side of the coach. The drains pictured are for the water lines in the coach. Used to drain the system for winterizing.

If these were low point drains, they would both have caps on them. Usually when there is a line without a cap, it is an overflow line. Maybe they used the incorrect color on the fresh water tank drain line?
Good luck,
Don

Hi Dave
You found the valve for the cold in the pump/ filter compartment
The hot drain just has a cap (as shown in your pic)
Interesting read on my thread "What came out of my hot water tank"
Addresses the hot low point drain when road debris broke the cap on the hot drain and all my system water including water and all the minerals in the hot water tank siphoned out
I installed a shutoff valve on hot line right next to the valve on the cold line to prevent this problem from reoccurring
Good luck with it
