Is there a Sunseeker model that has a turbo Diesel engine?

The Forest River C with diesel is the Solera. Built on Sprinter chassis with Mercedes diesel. While a little smaller than Sunseeker it has most of the same features (some even more "upscale").

Sunseekers are either Ford 450 or Chevy 4500 chassis.

We nearly got the Solera M-B diesel, it is IMHO an upscale model. However, the approximately 1,200lb NCC and 4,220lb towing limit ruled it out. Our Sunseeker has 3,400lb NCC and 7,500lb towing limit which is what we needed. There are a lot of conflicting MPG reports on several forums because everyone travels at different MPH. Additionally, Winnebago has some aerodynamic models that achieve about 2 MPG more (if you are willing to pay over $20,000 more over the Solera) - we nearly settled on that one too until we learned more. Best we have been able to figure out, with all things being equal (NCC, Towing, and Length) the same, the Sunseeker in GM trim gets about 11MPG, in Ford trim about 10MPG (but more NCC and towing), and Solera 14MPG.

New model Sunseekers stopped having the diesel option when Ford stopped putting diesels in the Econoline vans. I believe it was about 2010 when the last International produced 6.0 Powerstroke diesel was on the option list. After that Ford used their own 6.4 in Superduty pickups but I understand that it would not fit in the Econoline chassis. Maybe it will be back when Ford swaps over to the new transit chassis.
